Green Dot Corporation - Prepaid Card Activation Review
I purchased a visa prepaid card from your retail store: 7-11 on Riverside Avenue in Rialto Ca but sadly to date I have not been able to register it. I get a message that the card # does not match the code.
All efforts to get either green dot or 7-11 has failed. The 7-11 staff have been very uncooperative.
I purchased a visa card last month but to date I neither have my money or card . I have been unable to get help neither from green dot nor 7-11.
It is very disappointing and sad. I tried to activate but told the card # does not match the code at the back of the card. Where is my money? 7-11 says yo have the money and your customers service says 7-11 has the money.
Who has my $30.00? Am I being ripped off? What is the problem.
I want my money. I have worked very hard for it and no giant should deprive me of my money.

i just had the same thing happen to me my father was dying and yes i did not make it in time because of the same thing. mine was two five hundred Net spend cards for a plane ticket when i went to use then there was no money on one so i was going to try Green dot but now is the same thing going to happen.
if we were to make a mistake like that we would probably be penalized. and i was.
i didn't make it in time it took me two days to get my money back from circle k and he passed before i made it home. i have to think about this now..
Contact your state attorney general office in your state and the state that green dot corporate office. Repeat your story enough and maybe the right person will eventually hear you.
