I called in June 2021 to notify Green Dot that my card was lost/stolen. I was told I would get a replacement card in the mail.
I was asked to upload my drivers license, a utility bill and a statement of my charges I wanted to dispute. I did that in a timely manner, I also asked that ALL charges after May 21 be disputed, in a phone call and a statement. I did not hear from the company. I called again in July after seeing that my card was still being used.
My child tax credit payment for July was posted and several ACH transfers as well. Money was being taken from my vault. I called to ask why this was happening. I was asked to upload the same documents.
Which I ended up mailing. A total of 3,108.25 was taken from my card. This is not including the ACH payments that were posted to my account. I did not receive my replacement card until October.
My dispute was denied. I was told there were bad and Fraudulent checks being posted to my account. I was offered a $10,000 settlement. I received a Go2bank debit card after receiving the Green Dot replacement card.
I have not received any money from this company at all. My dispute was denied citing different reasons. They did not dispute all my charges, like instructed to. I have not received any paperwork regarding the fraudulent checks nor are they on my statements.
I called to ask about my settlement and told them I am willing to take the settlement. But I was told to dispute the rest of my charges. I was told inhave 8 cards with this company. Inonly know of the one in my posession.
When I call I am told to talk to the dispute department. I get transferred but do not get a person on the line. I am being put on hold for several minutes then the rep tells me the dispute department is closed. I was told I had a $50,000 value for the Go2bank card.
I have not talked to anyone from this dispute department. That is the only resolution green dot gives me when I call I get put on hold for several earl minutes. I am tired of this company lying to me, I have not got any information regarding them investigating the fraudulant activity they claim that occurred on my card. I have notified them about my phone number and email being changed.
But they continue to use the same number and email that the Fraudulent activity occurred with. I am upset and tried being fair by not suing this company. I don't know why I didn't just sue this company to begin with. I would like the money that was offered to me by these companies (which are the same, only have different names).
I would like my issues resolved quickly. I have been dealing with them since July and like I said I have not received one penny. This company has failed to compensate me or provide any decent reason why my dispute was denied or assistance to resolve this situation. They lied to me by giving me the wrong phone number for the dispute department.
They have lied to me about the hours of operation for the dispute department. I am fed up with this company. I am fed up with their lies, their false and misleading information they have given me. I am upset that they fail to address the fact that someone was allowed to make ACH Payments to my account.
I would like this resolved quickly.
I'd like the money that was taken from my account. And the settlement money that was promised to my by GreenDot and go2 bank.
Preferred solution: I'd like my settlement money and some true and honest answers regarding the ACH Credits and other Fraudulent activity that occurred on my card.
